also returning to Curren$y who always kills it
Last Week Recap: Toki Wright, Raz Fresco, Drake, Necro, Meek Mill, Smoke DZA, Abstract, Wiz Khalifa, Jim Jones, Scanz, Hi-Rez
A lot of different styles, but I take in all forms of rap/hip hop as everyone has something else to show me about the human perspective. Personally, Toki and DZA kill it.
This Week’s Mixtapes:
A Cultivator—The Buddhist Hiphop Mixtape
Lecrae—Church Clothes
Curren$y—Covert Coup; Here EP; The First 28 (with Styles P); Verda Terrace

Smoke DZA—The Hustler’s Catalogue; New York High
Nipsey Hustle—The Marathon
JD Era—No Handouts
Murda Mook—Street Smart
Logic—Young Sinatra, Undeniable

This is a lot of music, but lately I am obsessed with my craft more than usual, so I am 24/7 consuming hip hop. Holler at me if you feel a mixtape needs to be heard.

she’s also holding a grenade behind her head, so that’s only further incentive

Read this when I woke up and almost cried. I’m so upset that Vancouver “fans” have reduced Luongo to the point where he needs to ask for a trade in order to save his career — can you even imagine the pressure he feels when he plays for us? It must be tough to do your best when you know there’s a whole city out there waiting for you to make a single mistake to justify blaming everything on you.
Patrick Roy style, why play for a city that doesn’t back you up?
white people are always like…
black people always say…
women are this, men are that…
no
some people do stupid shit….not all whites are doing something, not all blacks are doing something….
why are we so obsessed with labeling everything and everyone? we can’t handle thinking a lot so we generalize to handle an entire category, and often this works with things like characteristics of apples, cars, etc…inanimate objects
but with PEOPLE, they must be taken PER PERSON
think before you ignorantly spread hate
